Vinq celebrates usability coast to coast

November 8 is World Usability Day. As a leader in design for usability, Vinq employees attended three of the most prominent events: the User Interface 12 conference in Boston, World Usability Day Boston and World Usability Day Chicago. World Usability Day is currently celebrated in over 23 countries. The focus this year was on healthcare. At Chicago, one of the largest World Usability Day events, presentations and sessions included prominent market leaders, physicians and usability practitioners. The User Interface 12 conference presented the latest thinking and techniques surrounding web design and usability. There were diverse all-day seminars covering topics such as “Interaction Design in an Agile World” and “Product Usability: Survival Techniques.” In addition there were smaller presentation on topics such as “Creative Thinking Hacks” and “Best Practices for Form Design.” Practical and cutting edge information was presented that was useful for interaction designers, graphic designers, as well as project managers.
