Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of web development using Perl/Mason, PHP, and Postgres/MySQL.
- JavaScript/AJAX programming skills.
- Very strong knowledge of HTML/DHTML/CSS and experience in creating web user interfaces.
- Experience with Linux software development tools, including CVS or Subversion and Linux shell programming.
- Ability to write clear and concise design and specification documents, and to document the code.
- Ability to work alone and in teams to produce code with changing requirements and tight development schedules.
- Attention to details and willingness to exceed customer expectations are critical.
Desired Qualifications:
- Object-oriented frameworks, Apache/mod-Perl, MVC, and Perl/Mason.
- Programming experience with Ruby on Rails framework.
- Knowledge of XML technologies and web services.
- C/C++, Java, or Ruby programming.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree required.
